Rebel Farmer is market gardener Ed Kyrke-Smith. The Rebel Farmer brand was set-up to promote and produce local seasonal food, ethically grown on a smaller scale.
With a smaller, more localised consumer/producer relationship, the negative impact of farming, on the environment is reduced and a more robust food system is created.
Eight years after growing his first ever tomato, and after seven years of development from our site in Kent, Ed now speaks across the county on his learnings and passions on the subjects of sustainable growing, ethical agriculture, NO-DIG & permaculture principles.
He also hosts visitors to Rebel HQ wishing to make their own ethical change, be it growing microgreens on a window sill or creating their own small-scale farm. And as well as all of this, Rebel Farmer grows produce for some of the finest restaurants in Kent.

WHAT WE GROW
SOIL GROWN MICRO GREENS
Unlike some other micro greens, we grow ours in soil for superior nutritional value and flavor. These babies are much more than just a fancy garnish, the tasty leaves and sprouts are a salad staple! Great on their own stacked high with dressing or as a side to steak, prawns in sandwiches etc.....
Our gorgeous little boxes of micro greens and salads are delivered in fully compostable vegware and can be purchased in London and across the South East.
*We supply wholesale to the catering industry.

......Kelsey joined us to learn all aspects of growing and to put Rebel Farmer through his paces on a 5k run to the top of The Downs, he promised her! We miss Kelsey, but hope to be reunited when we visited NZ sometime.
Ece & Jordan joined in June 2019 and have stayed with us, enabling us to expand the business and start a number of new projects. Ece now runs the micro greens and Tipi operation and is indeed the Microgreen Queen.
